Single Solicitor Consent Order Service – One Solicitor – Two Clients
If you separate from your partner, you will need to decide how to separate your finances by dividing any money, property, pensions, and debts.
You will also need to comply with the legal steps to get divorced and make your financial agreement legally binding through a consent order to prevent possible future claims.
Our Single Solicitor Consent Order Service is designed for couples who are in agreement about how to separate their finances. It means that one of our highly experienced solicitors acts for both of you saving money and time.
How it works
- Call the office and speak to the Head of our Family Department, Claire Grylls for an initial free 15-minute discussion to discuss whether your case is suitable for this service. If you both agree to proceed you will need to arrange for your partner to call Claire to undertake a further free 15-minute discussion.
- If Claire is satisfied that your circumstances are suitable for our Single Solicitors Service, she will arrange a fixed fee 30-minute face to face meeting with both of you charged at £100 plus VAT. If all parties agree the Single Solicitor Service is suitable you can formally instruct Claire jointly. At this meeting a cost estimate will be given depending on the individual circumstances of your case.
What’s included?
- Claire Grylls, Partner and Head of our Family department will be your Single Service Solicitor. She will answer your questions and guide you through the process. This includes joint calls to talk through your agreements and answer questions on the consent order documents
