Jan Stanton

Jan Stanton is Managing Partner at Stantons.

Admitted as a solicitor in 1977, Jan has always specialised in family law and within the last 10 years has become a highly experienced wills and probate solicitor.

Jan is an award-winning solicitor with a particular interest in tax planning and assisting clients with minimising their Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax liabilities. Her extensive knowledge and specialist skills enable her to provide clients with truly complete support. Her knowledge on taxation allows her to understand when other taxes could be problematic, which allows her to give first-rate advice, while knowing when to bring in specialist advisers.

Jan is a Member of Resolution and Kent Law Society and specialises in private client law including wills, trusts and estate planning, probate, and lasting powers of attorney.

She sat as a Deputy District Judge in the Central Family Court for over 12 years and was President of the Kent Law Society from 2001 to 2002. Jan was awarded ‘Covid Hero’ by the Kent Law Society in 2021.

Alan Collins Rosell

Alan Collins Rosell is Head of the Private Client department.

Alan joined Stantons in August 2025 and was promoted to Head of the Private Client Department in March 2026. He qualified as a solicitor in July 2025 after gaining significant experience in wills, estate planning, lasting powers of attorney, probate and estate administration throughout his roles as a private client paralegal since 2010. Alan’s experience allows him to provide comprehensive advice and support to clients of all backgrounds, and he prides himself on a proactive, friendly and personal approach to his clients.

Chantal Muniandy

Chantal Muniandy is Head of the Conveyancing Department.

Chantal joined Stantons in August 2026, bringing with her over 20 years’ experience in residential property. She qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and has built an excellent reputation for providing practical, efficient, and client-focused advice on all aspects of residential conveyancing.

Chantal specialises in residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, new build properties, and shared ownership matters. She has extensive experience acting for first-time buyers, home movers, investors, and developers, guiding clients through what can often be one of the most significant transactions of their lives.

Known for her approachable manner, attention to detail and proactive communication, Chantal is committed to making the conveyancing process as straightforward and stress-free as possible. She prides herself on delivering a high standard of client care and developing long-lasting relationships with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other professionals.

As Head of Conveyancing, Chantal leads the department with a focus on exceptional client service, efficiency, and continuous improvement, ensuring every client receives clear advice and a seamless conveyancing experience.

Amy Sweeting

Amy Sweeting is Probate Manager in our Private Client department.

Amy joined Stantons in 2020 from a Regional all-service Law Firm. She has over 10 years’ experience working in the legal sector. Amy undertakes a variety of work in all private client matters including wills & estate planning, lasting powers of attorney (including where mental capacity is, or may be, an issue), and probate, including intestacy.

Baljit Croucher

Baljit Croucher is a Legal Executive in our Private Client Department.

Baljit joined Stantons in June 2026 from a Regional all-service Law Firm as a Legal Executive in our Private Client department. She qualified as a Fellow of Chartered Legal Executives in 2023 and has undertaken Private Client work since qualification. Baljit undertakes a variety of work in all private client matters including wills, lasting powers of attorney and probate.
